خلاصه مقاله:
Taking into consideration that the polymer concentration have the significant effect on the resultant nanofiber diameter and electrospun nanofibrous membrane (ENM) structure, this study aims to investigate direct contact membrane distillation (DCMD) performance of the single layer and triple layer polyvinilyden fluoride ENM. The bead-free nanofiber with diameter of 240nm obtained at 20 wt% concentration of polymer solution and increasing PVDF concentration lead to an increase of fiber diameter to 464nm. Results of DCMD operation show the permeate flux of triple layer ENM that has nanofiber with thicker diameter in its middle layer is better than single layer ENM that was obtained from electrospinning of 20 wt% polymer solution.
