خلاصه مقاله:
The late transition metal catalysts behavior based on bulky bis imine ligands are usually depend on the structures of the ligands and the ortho group position on the aryl ligands. Substitution of bulky group in ortho positions of aryl ligands lead to elimination of β- hydrogen reactions. In this work the ligand N,N-bis(2,6- dibenzhydryl-4-ethoxy phenyl)butane-2,3-diimine was synthesized. The methyl chlorid palladum complex was prepared using this ligand. Ethylene polymerization was performed using the prepared catalyst. The effects of parameters such as polymerization temperature, co-catalyst to catalyst molar ratio and monomer pressure were investigated. This α-Diimine catalyst was examined for high-temperature ethylene polymerization and proved to be thermally robust at temperature as high as 80 ◦C.
