خلاصه مقاله:
Cathodic electrodeposition (CED) was utilized to prepare coatings from aqueous solution of a newly synthesized 2K waterborne polyurethane system composed of tertiary amine containing hydroxyl terminated polyurethane prepolymer and blocked isocyanate cross-linker. The thickness of coatings was controlled at 28 μm. The coating showed promising adhesion to mild steel surface and high impact resistance according to cross-cut and impact tests. The corrosion inhibition property of the coatings was investigated by Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and it was found that the coatings could provide good corrosion protection when exposed to 3.5% NaCl solution.
