Novel blends of N-(2-hydroxy)propyl-3-trimethylammonium chitosan chloride (HTCC) and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) were prepared by mixing their aqueous solutions. Combination of PVA and HTCC polymers could bring the advantage of easy processability of PVA with bio-functionalities of HTCC. The electrospun blends in different electric fields and tip to target distances were studied. The morphology of the fibers was traced through SEM images. According to the results, the electric field of 16 kV and tip to target of 12 cm produce fibers with less diameters than the others
