The goal of this paper is to find a method for modeling the mixing of heterogeneous multiphase system such as immiscible polymer blends. In this work, we have used thebasic principles of a new modification to the extended formulation of mapping method applied to fluid flow in rotational Rheometer geometry. Particles are distributed in thestaggered grids in such a manner that every cell has a particle and the particles were tracked by fluid flow computationemploying finite volume method. By correcting the coefficients of the fluid flow’s discretized equations, we have effectively modified the mapping method to simulate theimmiscible fluid mixing systems. The results of the homogeneous system show the interfacial particles steadymovements in the direction of the fluid flow and for the heterogeneous systems show the segregation of particles from the interface.
