خلاصه مقاله:
Most of energy in the earth, directly or indirectly, depends on the sun. Energy resources can be divided into two categories of renewable and Non-renewable energies. The study of splitter flows and investigating the status of coastal profiles over time has made it possible to predict coastal status in the long run. Also, splitter flows are the main cause of the deaths caused by the sinking of swimmers. In this study, in addition to investigating the factors affecting the final power output of splitter current, this value was calculated for a typical splitter flow with a cross section of 7 m2, a flow velocity of 0.6 m/s is about 2.4 kilowatts. Assuming that this system with increasing and decreasing the flow rate throughout the year can generate the power about 28 MW/h, which can only provide the average power consumption of 6 houses. As a result, the splitter current contains a useful amount of energy which the considerable portion of which can be extracted, but the extraction of energy requires a very special condition. There are only a few suitable sites that can exploit this energy, while energy from the flow splitter does not meet our energy needs on a large scale. Meanwhile, using the Fluent software a splitter channel in a flume was simulated, and then the flow rate of the splitter and the amount of extracted energy from which was calculated.
