خلاصه مقاله:
Nanocomposites from polymers and nanoparticles have high potential to be used for food packaging purposes due totheir enhanced barrier and mechanical properties. According to this goal, in this research, nanocomposite films basedon poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and nano titanium dioxide (size = 20 nm, (0.5 and 1 wt.%)) were prepared using castingtechnique. X-ray diffraction (XRD) test confirms the completely exfoliated structure formed in the Tio2nanocomposites. Mechanical properties (Tensile strength, Young Modulus) increased when add 0.5, and 1 wt% Tio2compare with pure PVA film. The water vapor permeability (WVP) decreases by incorporating of low concentrationTiO2 to PVA solution.
