The concept of Social Determinants of Health(SDH) emerged in public health literature duringan evolutionary process in our collectiveknowledge of determinants of health.1 The WorldHealth Organization (WHO) defines SDH as conditions in which people are born, grow, work,live, and age, and the wider set of forces andsystems shaping the conditions of daily life whichinclude economic policies and systems,development agendas, social norms, socialpolicies, and political systems .2 Although its rootgoes back to before Alma Ata declaration, but evenwithin WHO, it was not paid attentionfor years.3
