خلاصه مقاله:
In this research, the effect of thermal shock on the dimensions of zeolite particles was investigated[1]. The results showed that thermal shock reduced the zeolite particles. According to SEM images, applying thermal shock to the particles reduced their size to 1/4 of the initial size[2]. Here, a model for the effect of thermal shock mechanism on the size of zeolite particles was proposed and a criterion for fragmentation of fragile materials was also considered. The proposed model and criterion fully explains why the diameter of the zeolite particles decreased by about a quarter of the initial particle diameterafter thermal shock[3],[4],[5].
