خلاصه مقاله:
In this study, the effect of adding graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) and various filler contents on the mechanical properties (tensile, compression and flexure) of epoxy polymer were investigated. The graphene dispersion was achieved by high speed shear mixing and probe sonication techniques. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) results showed that graphene nanoparticles have an acceptable dispersion in epoxy matrix. The results of this work shows that tensile, compressive and flexural strength increase 42%, 16% and 35.2% respectively at 0.2wt% of graphene loading. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was also used to study the fracture surfaces of nanocomposite
