This paper presents the classic coupled Thermoviscoelasticity formulation for an axisymmetric cylinder under mechanical and thermal loads. For modeling viscoelasticity, the classic Kelvin-Voigt model coupled thermo-viscoelasticity model of solid and hollow cylinders under radial symmetric loading condition is considered. Firstly, thermal analysis of the cylinder in general state is derived. For derivation of solution of the thermo-viscoelasticity model, a full analytical method is used. This method presents an exact unique solution of the classic coupled equations. The mechanical and thermal boundary conditions, the heat source, and the body force are considered in the most general forms and where no limiting assumption is used. At the end, numerical results are presented and compared with classic theory of thermoelasticity.
