Introduction: Trauma is one of the most important causes of mortality in the elderly, which is reduced in case of proper care. In the elderly, mortality rate is 15-30% higher than that of young people, and approximately 33% of the treatment costs are for the care of the injured Trauma in them.Materials & Methods: Using review articles and latest articles and extracts from existing sites One of the most important traumatic factors in the elderly in Guilan province, especially in cities near the villages, is the tendency to use vehicles. The use of motor vehicles at an advanced age, unnecessary passages of the elderly in the urban areas, the lack of use of pedestrian bridges due to the lack of escalators, and the lack of a vehicle safety and in-vehicle personal security are important factors of injury among elderly in the urban areas. The second traumatic factor in people over 80 years is falling from height. Approximately 50% of these people die from trauma after one year. Septicemia, side effects of the drug, hypoxia, cardiovascular problems, pain, anxiety, gastric ulcer, acute renal failure, drug allergy, fractures in people over 60 years of age.Results: Opening the airway, circulating blood, assessing vital signs, especially pulse and heat measurements for checking the infection, the amount of consumed oxygen from measuring oxygen consumption, evaluating the skin in terms of current injury, preventing bed wound, and Control of absorption and disposal of fluids are the most important clinical tasks for elderly injured patients. Conclusion: Opioids, especially morphine, are recommended as prescribed by the physician, and physiotherapy completes this treatment process.
