Two thermodynamic models including Reaction Equilibrium Thermodynamic Model (RETM) and CPA EoS were employed simultaneously to correlate H2S solubility in ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium Lactate. RETM and CPA EoS are responsible for chemical and phase equilibria, respectively. The RETM defines an AB2 type reaction mechanism between two IL and one H2S molecules into liquid phase. Both of H2S and [emim][Lac] were considered as association components following 4C and 2B association schemes respectively. First, pure IL parameters achieved using CPA EoS. Consequently, the binary systems were investigated applying RETM. The results show excellent performance of the model to correlate H2S solubility in [emim][Lac].
