خلاصه مقاله:
Fe-modified and K-saturated natural clinoptilolite prepared were tested in the reaction of ethylbenzene oxidative dehydrogenation to styrene in the presence of N2O as an oxidant. High catalytic activity was achieved over mixed K, Fe and Cr promoted clinoptilolite catalysts (as KCrFe-NZ). The best catalytic performance in the reaction under study was found for iron modified clinoptilolite (as Fe-NZ) and the styrene yield achieved at about 31 %, which was thought to be caused by the presence of Fe3+ ions in Fe-modified natural zeolites.
