خلاصه مقاله:
This paper presents an experimental investigation into the compression behavior of composites subjected to quasi-static loading as it relates to glass continuous filament (GCF) direct roving epoxy composite. Two specimen of GCF direct roving reinforced epoxycomposite prepared and compression strengths of specimens are analyzed. Specimens were prepared by hand layup at room temperature for curing. For each specimen, four layer GCF direct roving reinforced epoxy composite were prepared. Maximum load bearing capacity of specimens after quasi static damage was experimentally investigated. Results of the compressiontest showed that GCF direct roving reinforced composites specimens have maximum force about 11100 N and 10700KN for C1 and C2 specimens respectively, respect to 13.5 mm displacement and also have maximum stress about 98.29 Mpa and 94.75 Mpa and toughness about 24.23 Mpa and 22.07 Mpa for C1 and C2 specimens ,respectively. Results of compression testing for two composite specimens showed that specimens with four layer GCF direct roving reinforced epoxy composite have appropriate load capacity than other metal material
