خلاصه مقاله:
Today, with the advances in the electronics industry and need to cool electronic components have led to thedevelopment of micro-heat transfer equipment such as microchannel heat sink. These converters have a high heat transfer coefficient and, at the same time, have asmall amount and size. In this article, design and numerical study a microchannel heat sink are investigated to increase the heat transfer rate. Local Nusselt number is compared with experimental data of reference study that addresses acceptable compatibility. Besides,microchannels with oblique fins offers approximately three times higher Nusselt number that that of straight channels while the pressure drop penalty is affordable with the performance evaluation criterion of 1.545. Oblique pattern has small maldistribution of temperaturethat origins from asymmetry of flow direction inside microchannels. Finally, it can be concluded that the use of oblique microchannel heat sink with rectangular crosssection can be used to optimize the microchannel in terms of heat transfer and pressure drop.
