Background: Malaria is important diseases in Iran and insecticide resistance monitoring in malaria vector mosquitoes and implementation of this policy guidance by national malaria control programmer.Objectives: Based on the eliminate all forms of malaria by 2025 in Iran, this study was done to determine the suseptibility of An.maculipennis by some WHO recommended insecticides based on natinal malaria elimination by 2025.Materials and Methods: Mosquitoes adult were collected using Standard Bednet trap and Hand collections and larvae by Dipping method in various parts of central plateau of Iran. Susceptibility assay was performed using standard WHO guideline. The papers supplied by WHO were used DDT 4%, Malathion 5%, Propoxur 0.1%, Deltamethrin 0.05% and Bendiocarb 0.1%.Results: In our study, An.maculipennis was found resistance to DDT, tolerance to Malathion and Propoxur, whereas susceptible to deltamethrin and propoxure. LT50 value of this species to DDT was calculated as 44.55 minutes. The LT50 values to malathion and propoxur were calculated as 26.44 and 21.54 minutes respectively. LT50 values of this species to Bendiocarb was found as 22.29 minutes Conclusion: It is the first report of the susceptibility test of An.maculipennis in central plateau of Iran. Due to the high abundance of the malaria vectors and the risk of returning the disease, regular susceptibility test recommended in the future
