This workshop discusses hypnosis and hypnotherapy in the context of brief therapy for children and adults focussing on psychosomatic disorders. The anxieties and demands are very often expressed in body language. Hypnotherapy is particularly well suited for children, adolescents, and the child within us, because it exploits their natural abilities to fall into trance and uses a language full of symbols and metaphors. It is based on the Ericksonian belief in the abilities of man and is astonishing in its effectiveness.
