The use of information technology and Youth and Sports Department and Sports boards

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between IT use and performance of theDepartment of Sport and Youth and Sports teams in the city of Bandar Abbas (in Iran). The studypopulation included all employees working in the Youth and Sports Department and Sports Boards of thecity of Bandar Abbas in 2015. The research sample consisted of 201 patients who were randomlyselected using stratified sampling method. Field study was the method of collecting data throughstandard questionnaires. The data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient. The results showedthat among the aspects of organizational performance and organizational effectiveness at r= 0.885,employee satisfaction r= 0.880, customer satisfaction r=0.768 and financial aspects r= 0.689 have apositive and meaningful relationship with the use of technology information. So, the use of informationtechnology can improve the performance of Youth and Sports Department and Sports Boards.
