چکیده مقاله:

The objective of this research is to determine the shape of brick masonry lancet arches under dynamic loads by a calculation model, i.e. cellular automata. In this paper, considerable attention is given to arches, their importance, modeling stages, dynamic analysis and arch optimization using FEM software and cellular automata. All of these stages have also been successfully conducted for lancet arches perfectly. Then these stages have been conducted for obtuse angel arches, four- centered pointed arch, Tudor arch, ogee arch, equilateral arch, catenary arch, semi sircular arch and four-centered arch.
