Holoxylon sp., is a spicies plant growing in arid regions, specially in sand dune and it is an useful plant for fixing of sand dune. This plant has economical, social and environmental significance. Mycorrhizae is a natural symbiosis between roots of plants and mycelia of fungi, which assist-plants -in 'water and nutrients such as . Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium absorption. It increases the resistance of plants against pathogenesis and other stress factors, such as drought heavy metal poisoning and salinity. This symbiosis can be important for the plant in critical conditions for examlpe, water and nutrient factors deficiency also, environmental stress. Mycorrhizae of Haloxylon sp. was studied in natural and man-made forests in Yazd-Ardakan plain and Kavir-e-Daranjir of Yazd province. The effect of environmental factors variation such as climate and soil on mycorrhizae was determined. The conclusion showed that H.aphyl/umm and H.persicum living in symbiosis with VAM. Distribution and variation of mycorrhizae in natural forest was more than man-made forest. In this symbiosis spicies of Glomus, Gigaspora and Acaulospora in natural forest and spicies of Glomus in man-made forest make a contribution.
