چکیده طرح پژوهشی:

‭Saxual (Haloxylon SP.) is a spicies plant growing in arid regions, specially in sand dune and it is an useful plant for fixing sand dune . Usually for establishment it is necessary the irrigation in the first years of planting . Water amount irrigation cycle and other protections depend to a climatical condition and soil in different erea. Thus we used mulch for reduction water consumption in yazd - Ardakan plain in 1994 1998‬ص‭. The effect of followin factors have been studied for settlement of seedling and growth rate in this way : A ) Effect of water amount under four levels, 25, 50 ,100and 150 liters. B ) Irrigation cycle under three levels, 2,3 and 4 times and C ) Mulch under three levels , control ,plastic mulch and sandy mulch Research results showed that the using of mulch and levels of water amount is significant difference ( ex: = 0/01) for both the settlement and the growth of saxual seedlings. Effect of irrigation cycle on the settlement is significant difference (ex: =0/01) and on the growth rate plastic mulch can be use in clay and desert lands of planting plants of saxual seedling by increasing soil moisture with controling evaporation and surface liquidity. Irrigating with 100 liters water and times irrigation and using of plastic mulch indicates increasing settlement rate from 29.17 to 91 .67 percent relation to control. Using 150 liters water and four times irrigation and plastic mulch increasing growth rate from 962.6 to 1732 cm2 relation to control. Using sandy mulch showes no significant defference in seedling settelment and growth rate relation to contrel.‬
