بررسی طرح ایجاد باغ گیاهشناسی مشهد

This project is following main objectives of botanic gardens, such as providing a place for researchers and students to share their knowledge about diversity elements of plants in the world. Mashhad botanic garden has been established in 25 ha area which consists of multitype collections. According to guidelines of the country botanic garden development project and its conditions, at first the land screened for Mashhad Botanic Garden. Subsequently, 9- type collections were assigned in the land based on information and topography maps of the place such as existence situation, access routes, type and density of plant cover. With ratification and denouncement project, the sub-projects were compiled for each of collections so it allowed to conduct the project in the zone. Among the sub-projects, rose collection subproject has accomplished and Iranian-local orchard, medicinal plants collection, and displayrocky garden, Iran-o Torani, and Middle Asia regions sub-projects are under processing and display-greenhouse, systematic-arboretum, and exhibition-educational unit sub-projects are under ratify. After land delivery, the main activities in the project were including: providing informative layers, fencing the garden, constructional activities in the garden, designing and implementing of irrigation net, creating mountain-like in: the display-rocky garden, Iran-o Torani, and Middle Asia regions, sowing plants in the related regions, and multiplication seed and plant in the nursery.
