چکیده طرح پژوهشی:

A Part of the total barley landrace collection at The National Plant Genebank of Iran were waluated and classified for agromorphological characters and for resistance to powdery mildew. A total of 1135) accesstions were tested in an. observational trial without replication during a period of 5years, and every year, 200 to ,300 accesstion were planted in Karaj. Gorgan and Yazd. The accesstions were sown in Y -meter rows speced 30 Cm apart. A total of 27 agrromorphological characters based on IPGRI descriptors were recorded. Data were analyzed, pair character correlation and yield estimation taking into account \ the role of other characters for each year for characters recorded, Results of the 5 years study have shown that more them 50% of the accessions are 6 Rowed barley40% are 2 -rowed and 10% are irregular. Characters such as stem pigmentation lemma awn barb. amricle pigmentation, grume color and grain color length of rachilla hair and other morphological characters showed a high diversity. Grain yield showed a significant and positive correlation with other chamcters such as own length, no, of Spibelat group. 1000 seed weight and panicle length. the evaluated collection showed variable reaction to powdery milde\ow rauging from immune, to susceptible, type of powdery mildow infection in different years with characters such as,60% infloresconce and maturity have a significant negative correction. Results of Mann-whiting test shown that accessions that accessions from Karaj and Gorgan have a highly significant difference in powdery mildew infection
