چکیده طرح پژوهشی:

One of the most routin and oldest method in plants breeding is selection among the existing cultivars, phenotypes and progenies which obtain through hybridization. In this method ,breeder lables the selected materials, propagate them,and in a comparison experimental design evaluates their different characteristics and selects the best to releas. in fruit trees breeding , especially citrus fruits which is contrary of annual crops breeding ,when a breeder . makes crosses in citrus fruits. a great genetical characteristic diversity occurs in F1 progenies .If In this stage (F1) a breeder reachs to a suitable phenotype, it will be possible for breeder to select and propagate the phenotype through the vegetative procedures and release it. Due to previous hybridization programs in citrus fruits. and great resulted F. progenies in the north of Iran, 68 phenotypes in regard to their fruit external and internal qualities were selected and coded. In a primery experiment design each phenotype was propagated on sour orange and 4 uniform trees of phenotypes were selected and planted. 4 clementine trees on sour orange were planted as parent check. In first stage for three years ,vegetative characteristics of 68 phenotypes such as value of canopy, trunk diameter and trunk height were evaluated. Statistics analyses for three years confinned that 51.40 and 54 in northern (Khoram abad) and 39. 37 and 40 phenotypes in southern (Jahrom) Iran were preferred to check trees regard with canopy value. diameter of trunk and higbt respectivlly . Final selection will be in rgard with production and fruit qualities in second stage of experiment.
