بررسی امکان استفاده از کمپوست تهیه شده از ضایعات چای و پوست درخت در پرورش گیاهان زینتی

This research in order to study the e.ffect of tea wastes in composting of shredded and "non-shredded tree bark and also the effect of mixes on growth of French Marigold (Tagete~ patula L.) was carried out in om~~e~tal plantrese~rch station of Lahijan, Iran. For composting of hardwood tree bark, large pieces, low water holding""capacity and high ratio of clN a~e unsui~able properties and while tea wastes have suitable water holding' capacity and low ratio ofc/N" At first tea wastes were mixed with shredded and non-shredded tree bark as volume ratio 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% then water added them in enough value and for composting were pourded in 1m3 wooden boxes. The piles were turned one time in each 10 day for three months. After five months, sampling carried out from compost boxes and physical and chemical properties were measured. The experiment was designed in completely randomized design (CRD), with nine treatments and four replicates. Then French Marigold was cultured in compost mixes. Results showed that tea wastes in 50% and 75% ratio significantly affected on 5omposting of shredded and non-shredded tree bark. This mixes on the top fresh and dry weight, plant height, number of lateral'" shoots and number of opened flower of French Marigold were significantly affected, and also their properties of physical and chemical was suitable. clN ratio of these mixes was very low and showed that tea wastes is notably reduced of C IN ratio of tree bark. Shredded and non-shredded tree bark "as pure (1 and 6 treatments) and mix of 25% tea wastes -+ 75% tree bark (2 and 7 treatments) were not suitable affected on growth of plantS. Results. showed that tea wastes in 50% and 75% ratio could be conveniently are accelerated the composting process of non-shredded tree bark and the shredding of tree bark is not needed" because increase of cost of the composting.
