بررسی شناخت مناطق اکولوژیک استان خوزستان- منطقه بیرم

Vegetation type of & Area, a district in southern & provinces, is mapped and documented as a result of a comprehensive national project titled "Recognition of Iranian ecological zones". Beiram area is 1454816.76 hectares, located on 54 - 52 30 E and 27 - 29 30' N. The most populated areas of the district's are Asaloyeh , Parsian , Khonj , Lamerd , Eshkenan , Ard , Beiram , Fedaq, Galehdar. On the basis of physiognomy and floristic status of the vegetation, rangelands and Forests of the district are segmented into vegetation types. Results of the study show that the area of Beiram rangelands and Forests is 1233591.38 hectares equal to 84.79% of the district's total area. Rangelands and Forests of the district are classified as 54 vegetation types. Having one dominant species in common, vegetation types were put in so called "Plant group" to ease realization of the situation as follows: -Amygdalus scoparia,A. lycioides and A .eburnea has 9 vegetation types covering 535064.76 hectares equal 36.771% of the total area. - Astragalus fasciculifolius and A. spinosa has 2 vegetation types covering 45266.21 hectares equal 3.11% of the total area. - Convolvulus acanthocladus has 4 vegetation types covering 14320.06 hectares equal 0.981% of the total area. - Gymnocarpus decander has 2 vegetation types covering 40530.86 hectares equal 2.78% of the total area. - Hammada salicornica has 6 vegetation type covering 85612.39 hectares equal 5.892% of the total area. - Halocnemum strobilaceum has 3 vegetation type covering 97111.13 hectares equal 6.673% of the total area. - Platychaete aucheri and P. mucronifolia has 3 vegetation type covering 14955.65 hectares equal 1.024% of the total area. - Prosopis cineraria has 3 vegetation type covering 94480.58 hectares equal 6.5% of the total area. - Seidlitzia rosmarinus has 2 vegetation type covering 68251.46 hectares equal 4.69% of the total area. - Tamarix leptopetala has 3 vegetation type covering 13820.99 hectares equal 0.952% of the total area. - Ziziphus spina-christi has 7 vegetation type covering 212404.39 hectares equal 14.6% of the total area. - Zygophyllum atriplicoides has 4 vegetation type covering 1219.51 hectares equal 0.074% of the total area. Nearly 1838 hectares equal to 0/12% of total area is allocated to crops of irrigated and also orchards. About 468114 hectares equal to 29.97% of total area is allocated to bare lands. About 62991 hectares equal to 4.03% of total area is allocated to rock and stony lands. About 463 hectares equal to 0.03% of total area is allocated to Urban and About 3805 hectares equal to 0.24% of total area is allocated to Sand Dune.
