ارزیابی لاین های گندم در آزمایش مقایسه عملکرد مقدماتی ناحیه ای ‭( PRWYT-ZIII ) ‬برای اقلیم معتدل کشور

This study was carried out to evaluate and characterize 298 bread wheat lines. These included selected lines from international nurseries as well as those selected from segregating generations in Karaj, Zarghan, Mashhad, kermanshah and Neishabour experimental field stations. This experiment was conducted in 2001 02 cropping season, in Karaj, Zarghan , kermanshah, Neishabour, Brojerd, Esfahan and Varamin experimental field stations. Yield potential, desired agronomic characteristics and reaction to major diseases were considered in final evaluation and selection. Statistical analysis was performed based on systematic statistical techniques, using commercial cultivars (Mahdavi, Shiraz, Pishtaz and Marvdasht) as controls. Each control cultivar was sown after every 20 new lines and were repeated after every 80 genotypes. The average of grain yield for selected lines varied from 6781 to 7987 Kg/ha with grand mean of 6645 Kg/ha, where the average grain yield of control cultivars varied from 6105 to 7156 Kg/ha with the grand mean of 6645 Kg/ha. Fifty three superior lines were selected based on the above records to be further evaluated in Advanced Regional wheat Yield Trials (ARWYT) in 2002 03 cropping season
