چکیده مقاله:
The efficiency of existing ship engines is about half of their maximum power and much of their fuel is transferred to seawater in the form of thermal energy. Also one of the major challenges in the maritime transport industry is the low fuel efficiency of the ship. That's why designing the optimal thermal energy recycling system for a ship's engine room, it will reduce environmental pollution. In this research, the conceptual design of the thermal energy recovery system in a propeller of a ship using phase change materials is investigated (1). In recent years, the use of phase change materials has expanded due to the high capacity of thermal energy storage.the proposed thermal energy recovery system consists of two simultaneous combined cycles for ship engine cooling and wasted thermal energy recovery, this systemCan be used to supply hot water to the ship even when the engine is off.
