Regulator of p53

P53 acts as a tumor suppressor in many tumor types; induces growth arrest or apoptosis depending on the physiological circumstances and cell type. Also p53 is known as the guardian of the genome so it the most important protein in the cell therefore it is necessary to be regulated carefully.New researches show different types of regulators for p53.Mdm proteins are the most well-known regulators for p53. including Mdm2 and Mdm4 which they can regulate them self too. There are some other types of regulator like cop-1 but it is more useful in plant cell compare to animal. Physiological process can be complicated and hard to be understood for us. Therefore learning these types of regulators can help us knowing cell cycle pathway and other process which related to the p53.
