چکیده مقاله:

L ast year we started a movement in publishing the Archives of Occupational Health. Archives of Occupational Health is a broad scope peer-reviewed open access journal published by Occupational Health Research Center of Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences. The Archives of Occupational Health aims at the publishing of high-quality scientific articles in the fields of occupational and environmental health and safety, ergonomics, and epidemiology. Now, after one year, we learned too much about the also priorities in the field of occupational health in the developing countries especially in Iran. In the last four issues, we published articles in the field of ergonomic, chemical agent’s exposure, occupational safety, noise exposure, occupational toxicology and mental problems in the workplaces. It is evident that during last four issues of Archives of occupational health nearly all of our papers were from Iranian researchers and Iranian universities. In the upcoming year, we are decided to focus on our international mission, especially in the developing countries.  In the Archives of Occupational Health we believe that developing countries especially countries in the middle east have relatively similar occupational health problems. The infrastructure for delivering health services to care seekers in these countries are relatively similar. Additionally, most of these countries have similar industrial background and also urbanization pattern. Therefore, it is wise to in the new volume of Archives of Occupational health we focus on the researchers and the readers form these countries. I - as an editor in chief of Archives of Occupational Health- together with our editorial board team will do our best to gain this objective at the end of this new volume of the Archives of Occupational Health.
