چکیده مقاله:

The present study aimed to investigate the relationship among extrinsic motivation , job satisfaction, and life satisfaction. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The sample included ۲۳۰ teachers (۹۶ male and ۱۳۴ female) of guidance schools and high schools in Semnan province who were selected by random sampling method. In this research, the questionnaires of Mafini and Dollop’s extrinsic motivation (۲۰۱۴), Minnesota job satisfaction (۱۹۶۷) and Diner and et al life satisfaction (۱۹۸۵) were used. The results showed that there were significant relationships among extrinsic motivation, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction (p≤۰/۰۱). The regression results showed that extrinsic motivation and job satisfaction respectively predicted ۲۴.۷% and ۲۹.۸% of the variance of life satisfaction. Given that teachers are responsible for educating the young and promising generation of society, it is important to pay attention to the health of their careers, which in turn affects their personal lives
