Bibliometric analysis of research trends on construction and demolition waste recycling

Construction and demolition (C&D) waste has attracted the increasing attention of researchers, however, there is few systematic reviews that explicitly addresses construction and demolition waste recycling. Trough this bibliometric research, this paper was aimed to assess the trends of construction and demolition waste recycling and showed the related hotspots, based on ۱۰۸۷ publications from ۲۰۰۰ to ۲۰۱۹, which was extracted from the Scopus database. The results show that Construction and Building Materials, Journal of Cleaner production ,and waste management were the top three most productive journals. Among the countries, China has played a key role in participation in the number of publications issued, while Spain, Brazil, and Australia ranked second, third, and fourth respectively. De Brito j., Poon C.S., and Tam V.W.Y. were the most active writers in terms of the number of articles. Based on the keywords cluster analysis, the C&D waste recycling research can be divided into seven cluster. hot topics and future research trends within C&D waste recycling were discussed. The results will be valuable for understanding the streams and trends in C&D waste recycling research
