A Review of the Sand Production Method (Case Study)

Due to the expansion of drilling depth in oil and gas wells and their more complex conditions than conventional wells, various problems occur during drilling and production of wells. One of these problems is the sand production, which today causes many problems during production from wells and A lot of money is spent on separating the produced oil from the well. The most important reasons for sand production are disturbance of stress balance in the ground, creation of kinetic force by moving fluid, reduction of reservoir pressure, reduction of hardness or hardness of the formation, fatigue in rock and excess production.In this article, we intend to examine and evaluate the different methods of sand production, causes of sand production, Types of sand production.Also, the problems caused by sand production and solutions to solve these problems in the Karazhanbas, Shoba, Buzachi, Kumkol South, Kalamkas, Uzen, Tasbulat, Arman, Dunga, Raven, E, Varg and Natural gas hydrate (NGH) fields are described. Finally, based on studies conducted on different reservoirs, a case study of each of the reservoirs is given.
