Desalination opens the door to conversion of the vast ocean and brackish inland water bodies into usablewater for municipalities. AS desalination technologies developed, many countries established desalinationsociety or association to develop and to promote of the appropriate use of desalination and desalinationtechnologies and water treatment aspects. To familiar with them at a glance, they are gathered in a table.For Iran that does not have such an association, it would be helpful to awareness of their mission, visionand activities.
