Investigation of Analysis and Optimization of Polymer Flooding in Enhanced Oil Recovery

Polymer flooding is one of the popular chemical enhanced oil recoveries (EOR) methods for increasing oil recovery in the tertiary stage of oil production. Many parameters affect the performance of these methods. Here, important factors to optimize polymer flooding that include polymer-solution viscosity, polymer molecular weight, polymer concentration, polymer volume and injection rate are have been explained. By knowing these parameters and how the polymer flooding being sensitive to them, can analyze and design a polymer flooding for a field
