Coverage Analysis of Wireless Full-Duplex Cellular Networks with Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access

In this paper, we consider a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) full-duplex (FD) enabled cellular network with uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) transmissions. NOMA technique is deployed in the FD base station to simultaneously serve two DL users and two UL users, over the same frequency band. To manage the interference in the NOMA DL users, caused by the NOMA UL users, we propose nearest near and nearest far user (NNNF) selection scheme. Closed-form expressions are provided for the near UL/DL and far UL/DL users' coverage probability which can be evaluated numerically. These results provide insights into the impacts of various system parameters on the system performance. Our results show that by increasing the BS transmitpower the DL coverage probability increases, while the UL coverage probability decreases
