چکیده مقاله:

In this paper the estimation for electrification of an office room is presented using two different wires (PVC and XLPE) having varying dielectric constant and resistivity according to PWD Schedule. Here Net Present Value Analysis and Break-Even Analysis are performed to determine the most cost-effective wires to be used for electrification. The annual recurring maintenance costs due to heating and wear and tear are included in the study along with the cost due to dielectric loss and resistivity loss. India being an economically developing country economic viability is of prime importance. The study is focused to determine the choice of wires for electrification work considering the monetary constraints.
