چکیده مقاله:

Having restricted raw material resources and being in a competitive market, wood industry is experiencing a tough economic situation. In order to maintain sustainability, wood companies should strive to smooth the process and increase competitive power by identifying and eliminating problems in its organization. Wood products manufacturing, by its nature is a multi- product, multi-parts and multi-process production type that is so-called complex process in which complication detection goes throughnumerous screening in all company divisions. Therefore, it requires using a very comprehensive and effective model that is appropriate for complex processes. In our proposed model, woodworking organization should be analyzed for organizational and functional process problems and difference between complexity and complication should be distinguished. Some critical success factors and criteria needed to be studied are: Manufacturing flow, productivity, customer satisfaction, divisions interactions andexternal factors. In this way, problems are detected, verified and validated in a planned and systematic way, recoverable areas are identified, and obstacles are removed. Finally, total quality management and continuous improvement are needed to ensure obviating radical problems and prevent emerging new complications
