THE REGRESSION LOGISTIC FORECASTING MODEL FROM ACCIDENT DATA

In these years, road accidents have become an important issue. The accidents costs estimate up to ۳% of countries' GDP. There are many important reasons that can influence accidents rate. In this study, ۱۲ factors have been explored and the logistic regression model is used for predicting slight or serious/fatal accidents. The results from logistic regression show ۸۸.۴۸% of accuracy and can be a useful method in providing meaningful interpretations for organizations that are involved in these issues like police departments for future safety improvements.
