چکیده مقاله:

The present study compared emotion regulation and mood dysphoria in children with ADHD andchildren without the disorder aged eight to eleven years. The present study has a descriptive posteventdesign. The research sample includes thirty children with ADHD and thirty children withoutADHD who were accessibly selected from Ardabil. Three instruments were administered,including the Emotion and Blackness Questionnaire, the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, andthe Toronto Mood Dysfunction Scale. The Toronto Emotion Regulation and Mood DiscomfortScale was completed by children and the Parent Emotion Regulation Scale was completed. Dataanalysis using multivariate analysis of variance obtained from all three instruments of the presentstudy showed that compared to normal children, children with ADHD had higher levels ofemotional instability / negativity and lower scores in using Emotion regulation strategies showedsignificant reassessment as well as individuals with attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder in thecomponents of mood dysphoria including; The inability to identify emotions and the inability todescribe emotions were significantly higher than normal individuals, but there was no significantdifference between the two groups in terms of extroverted thinking. Also, the findings obtainedfrom the interactive effects and the main effects of demographic variables were examined. Basedon the findings, due to the high scores of children with ADHD and attention deficit disorder inemotional instability / negativity, it is suggested that emotional problems in this group of childrenbe further considered by professionals and teachers. And programs are designed to improve theproblems of these children.
