چکیده مقاله:

The Science of Medical Imaging Began In ۱۸۹۵ When Roentgen X-Rayed His Wife's Hand. Over Time, Different Methods and Devices For Imaging Were Created. In General, Medical Imaging Devices Are Divided into Two Categories: Anatomical and Physiological. Anatomical Devices Provide an Anatomical Map Of The Body By Distinguishing Hard And Soft Tissue From Each Other, And Physiological Devices Classify Places By Diagnosing The Intensity Of Fluid Flow In The Body And Blood Circulation. Initially, Only Anatomical Images Were Used for Diagnosis, But This Type Of Image Was Not Effective For Diagnosing Cancer Or Internal Bleeding. Physiological Devices Such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Are Very Valuable In Diagnosing Various Body Disorders. The Images Obtained from Different Medical Imaging Systems Alone Are Not Able To Express The Complete Structural And Functional Characteristics Of The Tissue. Therefore, A Key and Fundamental Process Is The Combination And Integration Of Information From Different Images. Fusion Of Multi-Quality Brain Images Is a Very Important Function for Clinical Applications. Usually, The Pet Image Shows the Function Of The Brain And Has Low Accuracy And Resolution, The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Image Shows The Structure And Anatomy Of The Tissues And Has High Accuracy And Resolution And Does Not Have Any Color Information. A Merged Image Contains Functional Information with Appropriate Spatial Features So That There Is No Effect of Spatial and Color Distortion. The Aim of This Study Was To Combine Both Curvelet Transform And IHS To Combine Pet And MRI Images, Which Has Not Been Mentioned In Previously Published Articles. This Combination Is Done in Such a Way That First IHS Transformation Is Taken from Pet Image, Then Curvelet TransformationIs Taken From This Image And MRI Image And Fusion Is Done. The Results Obtained from The Method Proposed in The Study Show That This Method Has Obtained Better Results in Most of The Statistical Parameters Compared to Similar Studies and Has Increased The Information Related To The Intended Application And Has A Significant Impact On The Doctor's Diagnosis.
