چکیده مقاله:
The study area Badin Block is present in the utmost prolific part of the Southern Indus Basin called Sindh Monocline, located between ۲۴°۰۵’N to ۲۵°۲۵’N Latitude and ۶۸°۲۱’E to ۶۹°۲۰’E Longitude. This research intended to delineate the subsurface structure style of Jabo Field, and to evaluate the time and depth domains of specific formations including; Khadro Formation, Parh Limestone, and Goru Formation with the aid of seismic interpretation. For petrophysical analysis, GR log curve shapes of Upper and Lower Goru Formation of Jabo-۰۱ and Jabo-۰۵ wells have been used to study the depositional environments of reservoir rock of the Jabo Field (Goru Formation) by marking system tracts seeing progradtional, retrogradational or aggradational sequences on GR log responses. Facies of both Jabo-۰۱ and Jabo-۰۵ wells were correlated to illustrate the depositional style of the Goru Formation in both wells. Lithocorrelation was made to correlate the lithology of Goru Formation in nearby wells of Jabo Field including Nur-۰۱, Rajo-۰۱, Jabo-۰۱, and Jabo-۰۵ wells to study the trend of thickening or thinning, of the Goru formation due to the rise and fall of sea level during Cretaceous times when the Goru Formation was being deposited.
