چکیده مقاله:

This research was conducted for the first time in Iran on Camelina Sohail seed meal with the aim of investigating itsphysicochemical properties and its nutritional and anti-nutritional composition for the possibility of using it inanimal and poultry feed. The prepared samples were related to four temperate regions of Iran, i.e. Ilam,Kermanshah, Fars, and Hamedan (cold temperate), which were obtained by two methods of solvent extraction andcold pressing. In general, the examined characteristics included qualitative, physicochemical, and anti-nutritionalcomposition (glucosinolates). The results obtained included the appearance of flour, pellets or flakes, yellow tobrown color, specific taste and smell, and camellia flour free of unacceptable factors (all unacceptable factors in anyamount of camellia flour). Maximum moisture content was ۱۰ g/۱۰۰ g, total ash was maximum of ۷ g/۱۰۰ g, acidinsoluble ash was a maximum of ۱ g/۱۰۰ g, and crude protein was a minimum of ۳۵ g/۱۰۰ g. The gram content oftotal glucosinolate was ۳۰ mmol/kg and the nitrogen content of urea and free ammonia. In general, all the obtainedresults were in accordance with the national standard of Iran's animal feed - Camelina food - specifications and testmethods.
