چکیده مقاله:

"Generalized anxiety disorder is not just worrying about everything". This is the last word of our review. Education is very important. Education that what is GAD? And what should be done to get help, especially during quarantine? The training is for psychotherapists, healthcare workers, and the general public. The prevalence of this disabling disorder increased during the Covid-۱۹ outbreak. Self-medication and the use of alcohol and drugs to reduce GAD anxiety symptoms have increased during the pandemic. It seems necessary to provide interventions and training to prevent this from happening. There are important risk factors in relation to mental health, including unemployment. Women and young people are the priority for psychological interventions in quarantine. It is true that people entered new conditions during the pandemic and they must have skills to accept and change, but the fact is that many events of this change caused by the spread of the infectious disease have directly targeted our mental health. So really, changes should be made, changes that include economic interventions by governments and psychological interventions. We examined GAD and its relationship with the pandemic from different dimensions. including what treatments have been offered for this disorder in recent years and what variables should be changed until the next pandemic. There are also barriers to treating GAD. Embarrassment to see a psychotherapist and lack of knowledge of places that provide mental health services are among these barriers that must be removed. Until the next pandemic, we have time to test more creative and innovative treatments for GAD and expand the provision of mental health services through the Internet and email and make them available to all people of the world.
