Effect of Environmental Factors on ART Result

Background: Many environmental factors affect embryo developmentand the subsequent outcomes of human ART. S tudiesshow that oocytes, sperm embryos, and eggs can be affectedby events and conditions before the oocytes and sperm are collectedand brought together in the ART laboratory.Materials and Methods: The s tudy reviewed several significantarticles in the field between ۲۰۱۰ and ۲۰۲۲. Reviews in thejournal and PubMed, ScienceDirect, Elsevier, ProQues t, willy,springer, and google scholar databases with keywords oocyte,sperm, ART, environmental temperature, air pollution. The resultswere analyzed and ranked in a schematic way. For s tatis ticalanalysis, s tatis tical tes ts were used.Results: The result shows that these factors include metabolicdisorders, general health, and disease; physical and psychologicals tress, exposure to environmental es trogens and othertoxins, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, smoking, and drug abuse canaffect oocytes and sperm before ART treatment. Also, resultsrecommend that patients under ART treatment avoid high environmentaltemperature and air pollution.Conclusion: Cccording to the present results, it is importantthat health workers are aware of adverse outcomes that may resultfrom such exposures, and to incorporate this into the analysisof clinic data for the purposes of quality management.
