A New Soft Single Switched Flyback-Forward Converter

In this paper, a new soft switching isolated PWMconverter without any auxiliary switch is proposed. The auxiliarycircuit contains of two coupled inductors and one snubbercapacitor. In this converter, switch is turned on under zerocurrent switching and turn off under almost zero voltageswitching. Switch is PWM controlled which simplifies the controlimplementation. One of the main advantages of this converter isthe possibility of sharing the output power between the magneticdevices and operating at high power levels. The experimentalresults obtained from the proposed converter verify thetheoretical analysis.
