چکیده مقاله:

Soil-cement is a combination of soil and certain amount of cement and water that are mixedwith a high density. In the international committee of large dams (ICOLD), soil-cement is acombination of Portland cement, soil and water whose components are which, due to thehydration and compaction, are bonded together and produce a durable compacted compositionwith low permeability and wear resistance. A more comprehensive definition of soil-cementis presented by as: a hard material with specific engineering properties, which is made bymixing of soil, aggregate, cement, possible chemical additives and cement complements, andwater, compaction and curing. In order to compensate for this flaw, we have used three typesof fibres to reinforce the materials which are: jute (which is a natural fibre) polypropylene andsteel (Which are synthetic fibres). These tests were conducted on three different gradationseach with three fine contents with different mineral type (nine different gradations in total). The results show that tensile strengths of soil-cement materials improve dramatically byadding fibres to the matrix and also thoghness index increased.
