Current research illustrates the behavior of a film spreading steel structure plant with four wheels, which changes and recovers the roof nylon film cladding of greenhouses constructed with light steel structure in Armenia. The main goal of the current research is to investigate the interaction effects between the greenhouse steel structure and the gutters with the mentioned plant. The greenhouses for which the plant is used, contain multi spans of ۱۲.۸m long. The greenhouse project is designed in France and is constructed under the supervision of the designer firm. The film spreading plant steel structure is designed in Armenia and installed over the roof of the greenhouse, with the wheels located directly on the gutters, letting the plant to move along the length of the greenhouse. The span of the plant itself is ۱۲.۸m, which exactly coincides with the main span of the greenhouse, and the wheels distance is ۳.۰m. The structural steel design of the plant itself is completed based on ASCE ۷-۱۶ code. The required computations for evaluating the interaction effects on greenhouse steel structure and the gutters are completed by installing the designed plant steel structure directly on the worst location of the gutters, where they are assumed to cause the maximum effects. Nonlinear shell analysis is used to evaluate the maximum displacements and stresses caused by the moving plant. It is remarkable that the above mentioned film distributing plant is used once every ۴-۵ years to recover the roof nylon film.
