Introducing a new model in Network structure Data Envelopment Analysis with weight control

In basic DEA model, to measure the efficiency, the system considered as a black box disregarding internalprocesses. On the other hand, in data envelopment analysis basic models, we face the challenge of zero and unequalweights for evaluating each decision-making unit. One of the strategies applied to deal with this problem is usingcommon weights of each input/output in all DMUs. In real world, most decision-making units evaluated with eachother include internal processes with different structures referred as network structure. Like the aforementionedchallenge of basic DEA model, there exists such challenge for the network structures. Kao et al proposed thecommon set of weights in a two-stage network structure. This paper aims at proposing the common set of weightsfor network structures in the general case to deal with the above problem. Finally, the mentioned model will beapplied on the numerical examples.
